Reconstruction
Eureka pulled his entire panel, every patient and years of accumulated notes, out of his old EHR and rebuilt them as native Eureka charts. Old notes read like they were written here, not like attachments in a folder.

Parallel validation
His old EHR stayed live while he compared real charts side by side, and it stayed available as a safety net after he cut over. He switched the day he trusted it, not the day a contract said to.

Rapid correction
A batch of late-arriving notes missed the first pass and needed a second import. He flagged it; it was fixed the same day. Typical founder fix time during the switch: about ten minutes. In his words: "Usually Zain is, like, ten minutes later: okay, it's fixed."

A patient's wife calls about a hospitalization. Eureka answers, and Jack, driving back from Yosemite, gets a text with the caller and the urgency. He pulls over and handles it.

Roughly 8 in 10 of the day's patient messages were scheduling or billing questions, answered without him. The clinical ones sit drafted, waiting for his click.
